Discover Epworth Real Estate

Combining breathtaking river and mountain views, Epworth is a desirable community for those seeking the Blue Ridge Mountain lifestyle. It’s a very quiet, private area with much of the land being rolling hills and old-growth forest. And, like many of the other surrounding cities and towns, there are many rental properties for those seeking a summer getaway. Epworth residents can rent their home or live in the community year-round, but many do purchase real estate as a second home.

Real estate in Epworth, despite its small size, is very desirable. This is because Epworth has a fantastic location that offers privacy while still being close to the area’s biggest attractions. The community, as well, extends outwards from the downtown area into the mountainside, and homes on the market are often the highly sought-after cabin and cottage style that the region is known for.

Cabins for sale in Epworth are picturesque, like something out of a story book. They are primarily built in the log cabin style, but there are also a multitude of contemporary cabins on the real estate market. These homes are available to purchase in both bungalow and multi-story options, although the lower-priced homes are usually single story.

In regards to price point, Epworth is on the higher end, with cabins starting at around $500,000. However, those longing for a mountain home with spectacular views can still find properties with this feature at that price—just another reason why real estate in this community is so desirable! While many homes in Epworth were in the 90s, there are also a significant number of new construction properties (with customization options) for sale.

Modern cabins and cottages are more frequently found on the higher end (price point). While older homes often have rustic interior decorating, new construction homes feature contemporary finishes. Luxury homes for sale are truly incredible, with many overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains or the numerous area rivers. Epworth is located right between Fightingtown Creek and the Toccoa River, which means numerous river and creekfront homes. Luxury cabins and be listed in the multiple millions, but come with some spectacular amenities; outdoor entertaining spaces, hardwood flooring, guest suites, and high-end appliances are common features.
