Discover Blairsville Real Estate

With the nickname, “City of Mountains”, Blairsville is a gorgeous Northern Georgia community situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is located at the base of Brasstown Bald, which is the highest point of elevation in the state, as well as at the edge of Lake Nottely. The Blairsville real estate market comprises gorgeous ranch style homes and quaint cabins, many of which are tucked away into the mountainside and provide exceptional views. Blairsville is a great option for those searching for a rustic vacation spot, or for those looking for year-round, small-town living.

Homes in Blairsville encompass a wide range of construction dates, price points, and property features. From Craftsman style homes to cabins with their distinctive wrap-around porches, this city offers a bit of choice for homebuyers—although the latter is the more popular home design. As Blairsville combines forest, mountain, and lake properties, cabins are a highly-desirable home style, which is also quite typical of surrounding cities and towns.

While older properties do tend to be priced slightly lower, price range (which varies significantly) depends more on location than other features. It is not uncommon for lower priced homes to come equipped with ample acreage, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, and modern interior upgrades. Of course, this is on a home-by-home basis. Regardless, Blairsville also provides many opportunities to purchase land, or purchase a home that needs some renovating, which could be ideal for those who have a specific home (their dream home) in mind.

Luxury homes come up less often on the Blairsville market, but offer potential buyers a lot of exclusive features. It is not uncommon for a luxury home for sale to be between 3,000 and 5,000 square feet, with some properties soaring over 6,000. Then, of course, is the property itself, and luxury homes for sale in Blairsville tend to be located on secluded roads on very large, often forested, lots. All the modern amenities one might desire can be found in these homes, with some of the most highly-desired properties being located on the waterfront or overlooking the mountainside. Construction dates and home style range, and each luxury home has its own unique charm.
